This welcome reception offered to all participants at no cost will be the occasion to reconnect with other members and create new connections. It will follow the opening plenary lecture on Sunday evening. Food and drinks will be served.

Conference participants are invited to gather for the SMBE 2027 Banquet, a convivial and memorable evening hosted in the reception room of the Manège Militaire de Québec, one of the city’s most iconic historic landmarks. Set within this impressive heritage venue in the heart of Québec City, the evening will offer a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Guests will enjoy a welcome cocktail followed by a sit-down dinner. Tickets for the Banquet must be purchased during the conference registration process. Availability is limited and tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. We offer a special pricing for undergraduate and graduate students attending the meeting to ensure a diversity of participants.
